1. Distance:

Half Marathon, 21.03km

2. Prize Money and Consolation Prizes:

Yes, there is prize money. The amount will be made known to particpants few days to the race. Also, there are consolation prizes to be won.

3. Positions:

There will be prizes for only 1st to 10th positions.

4. Running Number Collection:

Dates and Venue (s) for collection of Running Numbers will be announced shortly.

Participants will come with proof of identification when coming to collect their running numbers. If participants intend to have their running number collected on their behalf, the mandated person must come to our office with the printed copy of the form or the final confirmation received via e-mail. They must have come with their proof of identity in order to do this.

5. Getting to Start:

Participants are advised to come early to avoid delays, because the race is slated to start at exactly 7:00am.

6. Start & Finish:

The start point will be at the Eagle Square Abuja. The finish point will be at the Eagle Square Abuja.

7. Start Time:

Marathon – 7.00am

8. T-Shirts, Race Vest, Medals and Certificates:

First one thousand participants to be at the start point on the day of the race will receive T-shirts. All participants will receive running race vest, and finishers will receive medals and certificates.

9. Temperature:

The temperature for the day at start of the race will be communicated to participants before this race time.

10. Dress Code:

Green and white; all participants are expected to be dressed in white, green or a combination of white and green.

11. Race Timing:

The race will be timed using Time Tronics Electronic Timing System. Chips/Tags will be attached to the race bib number you will receive in your race pack. Do not remove this tag from your bib number.

12. Fluid Stations:

Fluid Stations will be provided at every 2.5km interval and at the finish area.

13. Toilets:

Toilets will be provided at 5km intervals on the Marathon route.

14. Medical:

An Ambulance and medical station will be available approximately 200 meters after each fluid area on the Marathon route and at the finish area. Medical officials will be present at every intermediary station.

15. Entertainment and Refreshment:

Entertainment Artists and a selection of other activities will be available at the finish area to entertain the participants and supporters. Food and Beverage will also be available.
